Quick Print (CTRL + P) option not working in Microsoft Word or Outlook or other Microsoft Office Products?

I recently come across an issue that when I press CTRL + P on my keyboard to print a Word document, nothing happens. It used to bring up the window for quick printing the selected page or document. I just found out a solution and it’s given below…

Step 1:

Close all Microsoft Office Products, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Step 2:

On Windows 7: Go to: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

On Windows XP: Go to C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

Step 3:

MOVE (or Cut & Paste) Normal.dot and Normal.dotm files to Desktop (or anyother location of your choice). Once its done, open Word or Excel or other Office products and try CTRL + P for quick print. It should work fine.

Tips: In case if you cannot find AppData or Application Data folder; On Windows 7: Go to Control Panel >> Folder Options >> Click on View Tab >> Select “Show hidden files, folders, or drives. On Windows XP: Open Windows Explorer >> Click Tools from the Menu bar >> Folder Options >>View Tab >> Select “Show hidden files and folders” (You can also do this from Control Panel >> Folder Options >> View Tab)
